MY LAST DESTINATION IN JAPAN!
So i arrive at my last destination in Japan, HIROSHIMA! I'm so excited to be in this historic place, the place where the first atomic bomb hit!
When i was a little kid every year in Japanese we would read the story about the girl, Sadako who got leukaemia and tried to make 1000 paper cranes in hope she would be cured of the disease. she died with only 466 cranes left to fold, which her family and friends completed shortly after. A statue of Sadako holding a golden crane was placed in the peace park which many tourists make a crane and place it under. I was lucky enough to do so myself!
When i was in Hiroshima I tried an Okonomyaki, which is a Japanese styled pancake or pizza. They are most common in Hiroshima or Osaka and have very different styles in both cities. The one I had was cabbage cooked on a light, thin batter, it also had yakisoba noodles.
i have enjoyed myself so much in Japan and I am so glad i could have shared this with all of you bloggers out there ! hope you have loved finding about my trip in japan!
